EnduranceElectrical endurance (contact endurance)Number of switching operations of a relay with electrical contact loading during which the relay remains operable. The reference values specified for the endurance apply, if not otherwise specified, to resistive loading or to inductive loading with suitable spark quenching. The electrical endurance is reduced with alternating current and inductive loading according to the diagram depending on the power factor, cos(phi). (phi is the phase angle between the voltage and current.)
